🔹 On August 10, in honor of the birthday of the great poet Abai Kunanbayev, celebrated as "Abai Day", a remarkable ultramarathon took place. Participants conquered the 160 km route "Semey – Zhidebai" and the 80 km route "Semey – Borili".

🔹 The 80 km race was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Shakarim University and was named “SHAKARIM UNIVERSITY-90”.

🔹 A total of 182 participants registered, including university administration, faculty, and students.

🔹 Supporting the athletes, Dean of the School of Physics and Chemistry Research A.B. Kasymov, lecturers A.N. Klivenko, D.N. Nurgaliyev, N.N. Nurgaliyev, and students Y. Kabbasov, Y. Kozhakhmetov, and Z. Zhisabekov completed a symbolic 6 km run.

🔹 Awards were presented in various age categories. Lecturer A.N. Klivenko secured an honorable 🥈 second place.
