Intellectual drive, team spirit, and vibrant emotions-all of these combined to create the regional round of the International Game «Formula of Intelligence» which took place on November 5 at Shakirim University.

Ten teams from the city's schools and colleges competed in the popular «What? Where? When?» format. Quick decisions, ingenuity, and logic helped the participants find the right answers. The captains' competitions added to the intrigue, with the teams and captains matching their answers so often that the audience applauded each time.

The tournament winners were:

1st place – «Superbad» (NISh Physics and Mathematics);

2nd place – «Turksib» (Secondary School No. 43);

3rd place – «Phoenix» (Economics Lyceum).

All teams received prizes from the Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan and certificates from the university's partner companies: the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Center for Nuclear Medicine and Oncology, and the Teplokommunenergo State Enterprise.

Special thanks were extended to the game coordinator, Seit Abeukhanovich Aliyev, Director of the Atomic Technologies Information Center and Head of the Association's Youth Branch, who was awarded a letter of thanks from the university for his contribution to youth career guidance.

Such intellectual events promote the development of critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership skills, which are essential components of human capital development and are consistent with the principles of sustainable development. Supporting talented youth and creating an environment for unlocking their intellectual potential is the university's significant contribution to the region's sustainable future.
