Gulnur Yelemesova, a third-year doctoral student at the Department of Chemistry and Ecology of the Research School of Physical and Chemical Sciences, has been undergoing a scientific internship at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Helsinki (Finland) since March 16 under the guidance of a foreign scientific consultant, associate professor of the Faculty of Chemistry, PhD, Aseev V. O.

Yelemesova G. uses IR spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetry to study polymer composite materials and their behavior in various conditions.The results of the internship are used in writing a dissertation and further scientific activity.

This experience creates an excellent opportunity not only to take a step towards new scientific results, but also to work with leading experts and technologies.
