Shakarim Energy Olympiad: fostering engineering potential among school students.
As part of career guidance activities of the Department of Technical Physics and Thermal Engineering at Shakarim University, the Shakarim Energy Olympiad for 10–11 grade students was held.
The Olympiad brought together 11 teams, including a team from the city of Ayagoz, reflecting the growing geographical reach and increasing interest in engineering fields.
Participants demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge, logical thinking, and strong interest in modern energy and technical physics disciplines.
Team results:
1st place — “Gamma” (Economic Lyceum);
2nd place — “Atomists” (School No. 35);
3rd place — “Nova” (School No. 4).
Individual results:
1st place — Togzhan Pernebek;
2nd place — Alemkhan Dosmagulov, Yaroslav Baits;
3rd place — Kamila Gizatollaeva, Dilzhana Serikzhanova, Konstantin Khanov.
The Best Video Award was presented to the “Energy Team” (Ayagoz).
The Olympiad aims to identify talented students, develop their scientific potential, and promote engineering education, contributing to the advancement of quality education and the development of a sustainable workforce for the energy sector.
