“Nuclear Energy: Integration of Education and Industry”

On March 2, 2026, an informational session was held at the Department of Technical Physics and Thermal Power Engineering for 1st- and 2nd-year students of the “Technical Physics” program on the topic “Nuclear Energy: Integration of Education and Industry.” The event contributed to enhancing the quality of education, developing students’ professional competencies, and strengthening the connection between academic training and industrial practice.

Specialists from the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan were invited to the session. They shared up-to-date information on the development of nuclear energy in the country, current research directions, and career opportunities for graduates, supporting the preparation of qualified professionals for high-tech industries.

Particular attention was given to educational trajectories:

  • “Low-Temperature Engineering and Physics.”

The experts explained the features of each trajectory, employment prospects, and the importance of integrating academic studies with industrial and research activities.
