Lecturers of the "Technical Physics and Heat Power Engineering" Department Join the Working Group of the Atomic Energy Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
We are pleased to announce important news: the lecturers of the Department of "Technical Physics and Heat Power Engineering" at NJSC «Shakarim University» have received recognition at the republican level.
According to Order No. 6-н/қ of the Atomic Energy Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 13, 2026, a working group was formed to develop a comprehensive plan for personnel training for the nuclear industry. The group includes leading specialists from our university:
- Olga Stepanova, Head of the Department of "Technical Physics and Heat Power Engineering";
- Daniyar Nurgaliyev, Senior Lecturer at the Department of "Technical Physics and Heat Power Engineering".
The creation of the working group was initiated in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the regulations of the Atomic Energy Agency. The participation of our lecturers in the development of such a strategic document is evidence of their high qualifications and recognition of Shakarim University's contribution to the development of science and energy in the country.
It is particularly important that this initiative is directly linked to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 7: "Affordable and Clean Energy." Training qualified personnel for the nuclear industry is a contribution to the country's energy independence and the development of low-carbon energy for the future. The work of our lecturers will help provide the region and the country with specialists capable of working with advanced energy technologies.
