London hosted one of the most significant international conferences in the field of development of fusion energy - the 29th IAEA FEC 2023, organized by the IAEA. About 1,000 participants from different countries presented research results and demonstrated advanced achievements in this direction during the period October 16-21.

The reports covered a wide range of scientists' activities: from computer modeling and engineering solutions to demonstrating the results of physical tokamak launches.

Shakarim University doctoral students presented research papers here as part of their dissertation work. The report by Igor Sokolov is devoted to testing fusion reactor structural materials and the report by Timur Tulenbergenov on the development of plasma diagnostic systems.
